"I think in order to defend the homeland, we're going to need more information about virtually every citizen. So we're going to have more databanks and databases that have information about us," Raymond Kelly, a former U.S. Customs Service chief, told NBC News. Unknown to passengers, including U.S. citizens arriving in the United States from other countries, the government already knows where they've been. Sources told NBC News' Andrea Mitchell that the airlines secretly give customs agents travel itineraries for 80 percent of arriving passengers - and now there's talk of tracking passengers flying inside the United States as well." You cannot throw bad policies at the growing cancer of terrorism and hope that you can cure it. You cannot remove the freedoms and domestic civil liberties which can harbor these individuals without killing what is most American--Freedom.
Instead of examining the current policies vis-a-vis the rest of the world, those which have angered and upset so many, instead of rethinking previous international policy decisions that were based on demands of well-funded minority lobbies, or economic concerns and that have resulted in the global distrust of the United States; our elected officials have decided to keep our policies status quo and curtail our rights to privacy. This is only the beginning folks and you know as well as I do that it will not stop here.
All proud Americans who believe in the freedoms, civil liberties and rights upon which this great nation was built, cannot let them be trampled upon, not for any reason. If we do not stand against the internal threats to out personal freedoms we will be inviting the possibility of more extreme civil liberties violations.

We are deeply saddened by the horrible events that took place on September 11 2001. We demand justice to anyone that would harm Americans here and abroad.
In our sincere efforts to make sure this does not happen again we demand, as citizens for whom you work to make this country a better place, to question and/or eliminate all Foreign Policies which are not absolutely necessary to protect American Citizens here and abroad. We demand that current security measures be taken only on a temporary basis until our foreign policies can be examined with a fine tooth comb and accepted or rejected by the American citizens, not other countries or special interests.

This is the first step to the deterioration of our rights as American Citizens!
All current security measures that are being suggested and implemented work to curtail the freedoms and privacy of all good Americans. You cannot throw bad policies at the growing cancer of terrorism and hope that you can cure it. You cannot remove the freedoms and domestic civil liberties which can harbor these individuals without killing what is most American-- Our freedom!

We cannot allow Americans to lose ANY Freedom/Privacy in the name of security. If we are to lose any freedom/privacy on more than just a temporary basis, the terrorist will have won.
We ask that you start investigating and looking into foreign policies and eliminating any that are not necessary to the freedom and the way of life in this great country. We particularly request that you start with unnecessary policies that have the potential of creating more enemies as we believe this is the true cause of our problems with others that we live with in this diversified world.
We must do this now or so that we do not lose even a fraction of what makes us the greatest country in the world and let the rest of the world know that we are strong and unwavering in our democracy and freedom.
God Bless us all.
