The time has come for affordable luxury vertical living (high-rise condos) in Long Beach, NY and we the people wish to petition for the approval of two new and exciting projects coming soon.
This petition, to the City of Long Beach, is for the approval of two high-rise condo projects representing approx 1,000 units/project as proposed by Matteo Patisso, President of Liquid Brick, Inc featuring affordable luxury vertical living as well as convenient and desirable amenities including shops, gym, spa, lounge, pools, concealed parking structure, day care center, private schooling and much more.
By signing this petition I acknowledge that I am a ready, willing and able buyer who is serious about purchasing and living in the City of Long Beach, on the water, at or about the time the first project is completed on or before 2011. I understand that condo units are likely to begin selling in the pre-construction phase in the $450,000 price range with 5% incremental price increases per phase of project sold.
Construction may add as many as 1,000 jobs to the area and approximately 500 additional and permanent jobs will be created once both projects are completed (approx 250 new jobs per building). This new job market is necessary for the stimulation and revitalization of the the City of Long Beach.
"Affordable" housing is near impossible in the City of NY and most parts of Long Island. With the advent of vertical living in Manhattan, FL, Vegas and other parts of the Country the time has come for affordable vertical living in Long Island. Long Beach has been selected as a primary area of choice because of its water front appeal and proximity to the train station making commuting to Manhattan by train less than 1 hour to Penn Station.
