Insurance Disability Benefits

 
        I am a Canadian who has had  a disability for 15 years and am collecting a Long Term Disability benefit from an American insurance company. The policy specifies that at no point  will there EVER be an indexing or inflationary increase of the original benefit amount.
        This has reduced my middle management earnings to a "seat on the poverty line"!
         I am sure that there are thousands of Canadians and Americans who are also affected by this contractual imprisonment.
          This practice should be made illegal and not be allowed to continue!!
