Grouse Mountain extending downhill operation until April 26th, nearly two weeks longer than any other North Shore mountain !
Schedule of Operations for the Remainder of the Season:
Until April 13, 2009 (inclusive):
9:00am to 10:00pm (weekends from 8:30am)
April 14th to April 26th (inclusive):
Monday to Friday: 3:00pm to 10:00pm
Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00am to 4:30pm

Please Do NOT close Grouse Mountain Ski and Snowboard Area
The decision to close the Grouse Mountain ski areas during peak snow conditions will have a negative impact on our city and community.
In particular:
-the decision will undermine the image of Vancouver as a city %u2018where you can ski and swim in the same day%u2019 -just two years before 2010 Olympics.
- It will drastically limit people's access to one of the most popular forms of recreation activities.
- It will cut off the possibility of training and skills improvement for many children, young people,
current and future sportsmen and women.
- It will reduce the popularity of Grouse Mt as a family-friendly and people-oriented ski field.
There is no reason to close the ski area before the end of the season; to save a buck or two is NO REASON.
