Our goal is to get NIKE to eliminate major overtime, worker abuse, and underage workers as well as increasing the daily wage, breaks from work, and oppertunities for workers to attend educational workshops. By signing this petition, you are agreeing to not buy or reccomend NIKE products.
Lastly, as child labor in NIKE factories are eliminated, sign this petition to get NIKE to apply meaningful labels to their products to ensure customers that child labor was not used.
We the undersigned, are asking NIKE to spend less money advertising and more money to raise daily wages big enough to support families of the workers. We are terribly dissappointed that underage workers, abused and exploited labor, and overtime are present at all NIKE factories. We reccomend that NIKE should take responsibility and be a leader, and to be a proud role model to all other sports equipment industries by being labeled as a sweatshop-free industry. We are not asking NIKE to discontinue the factories, but to challenge themselves to becoming sweat-free and helping the lives of many others. Once you have accomplished this, work with others in your industry to apply a meaningful label on your products to ensure exploited labor was not used to make your products. Good luck!
