Adequate Parking for Jones College Prep Addition

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned that the Board of Education of Chicago Public Schools has not adequately planned for the parking that will be necessary to make Jones College Prep a completed campus once its addition is finished. Besides the two small lots on the west side of the school, the plans call for only 35 additional spaces to be provided. We are asking the Board to reconsider this allocation so that additional parking for staff and for families and visitors attending fine arts, athletic, and other school events such as report card pick up can be accommodated, as they are able to be at other Chicago Public high schools.
