Australian V8 Supercar 2013 at Mosport International Raceway
We, the undersigned, to hereby petition Canadian Motorsport Ventures Ltd. (owners of Mosport International Raceway, Clarington, Ontario, Canada) and V8 Supercars Australia Pty Ltd. to enter into discussions and/or negotiations to determine the feasibility and opportunities available in bringing a round of the 2013 V8 Supercar Championship to Mosport International Raceway. In signing this petition, we indicate our support for such an event, including but no limited to patronage of sponsors of the series and event, and attendance at said event.
V8 Supercar has indicated they are open to running a round of the 2013 season in North America. With new ownership at Mosport International Raceway, and a commitment to restore Mosport to its rightful place as both the historic and traditional home of Motorsport in Canada, V8 Supercar is a perfect fit.
