Brazilian animals need your help: Please say NO to PL 4548/98

Animal protection is Brazil is facing one of its worst moments.Brazil's Congress is about to vote the PL 4548/98, which, if approved will remove the minimum protection assured by Article 32 of a federal law (n.  9605/98). Article 32 of this law insures that crimes against animals in Brazil are legally recognized and punished.Please say NO to this PL. Otherwise, all kinds of animal torture, abuse, and killings will again be alowed to go unpunished. Animal protection groups will have their hand tied.Huge economic interests are at stake. We desperately need the help of national and international public opinion.This bill was proposed by ex-congressman Thomas Nonô, well known in Brazil as brazilian animals' enemy number one.
