Cut the Carbon!
Did you know that 30% of all carbon emissions come from the controlled burning of the rainforest?. Every day, 100 plant and animal species go extinct. Most of this burning comes from big companies that use the land for farms and pastures. These companies are the same ones that use pesticides and growth hormones. Even worse, the runoff further contaminates the river and eventually the rains. This needs to stop! Please help this cause. Every signature gets us one step closer to outlaw the burning of the rainforest for commercial puposes.
Good day, Mr. President! Many times when one thinks of carbon emissions, we think of cars, coal-burning, or even smokers. But actually one of the biggest threats is the controlled burning of the rainforest. Commercial farmers burn down the rainforest to make land for fields and pastures My goal here today is short and simple; make it illegal for Americn companies to burn rainforests to create room for thier companies to burn down forests in Brazil, and encourage other countries to do the same. Please consider that the fires themselves not only release carbon dioxide, but they also destroy the trees that offset carbon. Thank you for reading. From, the petition signers.
