Help get Jessy's Horse back

Years ago my stepdaughter adopted a horse who needed help getting over it's fear of the inside. She worked hard everyday before and after school taking care of this horse, loving it, and teaching it not to fear. 
Not long after she trained the horse her mother & stepfather split up, desolving the family home & farm. Her mother packed up everything, including two other horses, and moved out, leaving Jessy's horse behind. 
Jessy's stepfather (not a nice man to begin with) Angry and hurt took out his frustrations on the one thing he could.. He took Jessy's horse into the barn where he beat it with a 2x4, leaving it to die in the barn. When it didn't die, he packed it up and dropped it off with the SPCA, where it is today.
Jessy didn't know what happened to her horse.. As far as she knew her mother had sold it to pay for feed for the other two horses, but after some pestering her mother finally came clean and told her what happened.. Jessy would like to have her horse back, but the SPCA is holding it ransom for $6000.. Money Jessy doesn't have... Money that I don't have.. But if i did.. 
We have a pasture ready, and a home for this horse.. We just need the SPCA to be a little flexible on the fees.. we are willing to trade, work, etc.. 
Help me get Jessy's horse back.. Ask the SPCA to help us help them.. and give this horse the life it deserves.
