Hey Congress! Say "No" to Military Action Against Iran!
This petition was created to urge members of Congress to go on the record as opposing any military action against Iran. The Bush administration has worked hard to portray Iran as a country determined to build and use nuclear weapons. But a new report by America's own intelligence community calls everything the Bush administration has said about Iran's nuclear intentions into question. According to the latest National Intelligence Estimate, Iran halted its nuclear weapons program back in 2003 due to international pressure.
By signing this petition you are asking member of Congress to go on the record as saying that they have read the National Intelligence Estimate entitled "Iran: Nuclear Intentions and Capabilities" and will oppose any military action against Iran.

Dear member of Congress,
Many Americans are worried that the US is preparing to attack Iran. The Bush administration has worked hard to portray Iran as a country determined to build and use nuclear weapons. But the latest National Intelligence Estimate has shown that the case against Iran is not as strong as the Bush administration wants us to believe. It says that Iran halted its nuclear weapons program back in 2003.
The NIE has much more to say on this issue. We, the undersigned, call upon you to read this important document for yourself. Please respond to this petition by letting us know whether you will oppose any military action against Iran in the light of these important revelations.
