Legalize Pygmy Goats In Spokane Washington!
To the entire Care2 Network,
I recently recieved notice after a false report made on me that I must remove my pygmy goat from my home within city limits of spokane washington. I recently found out that after a short battle a group in Seattle has succefully lobbied to legalize pygmy goats and pot belly pigs...and so With this groups assistance I hope to change Spokane laws, so I may keep my Shelby goat...and bring justice for all the goat owners of spokane who have had to part with thier beloved mini critters, because of a cold unfeeling system.
To Spokane City Council,
Pygmy goats and other small livestock can be kept within city limits in a responsible manner. They provide many different services for thier owners, like milk, yard care, and in some instances meat. In this age of trying to live green, we need to allow for the needs of people who want an animal to help facilitate this lifestyle. Please support legalization of pygmy goats and small stock within the city limits.
