MAKE SURE THAT UTAH MAKES ANIMAL ABUSE A 3RD DEGREE FELONY ON THE FIRST OFFENSE!!!!

Aminal abuse is terrible we all know that, and always say how animals feel just like us and have fear.  I am tired of just commenting on pages and saying how I feel about this over the internet... i am going to do something about this.  People say that nobody will listen to me on this, please help me prove them wrong .. lets protest, lets send letters and talk to the people in charge of making laws and change their minds.  This DOES matter so much we need to end the terrible violence that is inflicted on animals which also leads to abuse of family members.  But to me, an animal in the family, is a family member, to me torturing an animal is like torturing a small helpless child. I love my dog sadie with all of my heart and I would never want anything to happen to her. I would take a bullet for "my pookie bear" haha.
 But I just have some questions for you,
would you defend your animal?
would you want to stop the torture of your "baby"?
would you support me in stopping this and making at least utah for now a better place?
if you care about animals please help me .. prove people wrong that animals do really mean something and that we do care about them.
