Making fair rights in Sri Lanka
Recently, a war just finished in Sri Lanka for better rights in the country and Tamils lost. JAfna was destroyed, a home to many Tamils living under the stressful conditions Most people who were Singahlesse got the privileges, went to bettter colleges, got the prizes, and had the best jobs. Every single governor of Sri Lanka has been a Singhaleese ever since they got their independence from Britain. 20% of all Tamils own land. The rest goes to the Singhaleese people. 40% of Tamils only make it to college. The rest are Singhaleese. Every single of our presidents have ignored Sri Lanka and our country's president is the one of the 2 top powers in the world. WE need to get Obama to listen to us.
Dear senators,
We the undersigned have recognized an issue that yuo have not have a chance to look over. Recently a war just finished in Sri lanka trying to get equal rights. Many Tamils died just because they wanted to have better chance of and education. Only 40% of all Tamils go off to college. Of those 20% have the better jobs you can get in a upper lower class. As they srtuggled to get rights another fact comes up. They have never had a Tamil governor before.
Also 20% of all Tamils own land which is rarely in the major cities such as Colombo. Recently, Jafna has been destroyed so everyone there is living on the streets and been robbed by the Singhaleese armies. Jafna was a Tamil town and there was no fear. It was once the most beautiful city in the world but now it is destroyed by the cruel Singhaleese armies. They have nothing to go on.
Singhaleese armies were bombing innocent Tamils who had nothing to do with it, turning out people from their homes to get supplies, and killing Tamils whenever they saw any. Tamils had to lie just to live the horrible war.
The reason why there is poverty in Sri Lanka is beacuse there is no equal rights. If we came and negotiated with them to give Tamils equal rights n land and education. Sri Lanka will be saved from horrible outcomes. Thank you for reading this.
