New 5th Starter for the Dodgers

We, the undersigned Dodger fans, think it's time to cut bait with Jason Schmidt, who gave it everything he got in his earnest comeback try but just does not have the stuff to compete anymore. With at least two very capable alternatives in Scott Elbert and Eric Stults (who has already had some good success as a ML starter), Monday August 10th vs the Giants would be a good place to give someone else a chance. Every game vs our rivals is important at this point. Thanks Jason, for trying. Now it's time to move on.
