Pass The Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act in Wisconsin (JRMMA) 2012
Petition To The State of Wisconsin, It's Government and State Legislature;
We, the undersigned, are asking that you, the elected officials of the State of Wisconsin, consider legalization of the cannabis plant for individuals whose lives' are being affected by physical/mental illnesses, and those who might be saved, or at the very least, made more comfortable through the use of Medically prescribed Marijuana.
Many states are now going with the medical marijuana model and have partially given up the Prohibition of this sacred plant. We, the people of Wisconsin, want the freedom to ingest a substance that is much safer than alcohol, pharmaceuticals, nicotine, and over the counter medications. We shouldn't be held as "criminals" and locked away for using a naturally occurring plant. Free the jails and prisons of the marijuana offenders and make room for real criminals. Violent offenders, child abusers, firearms offenders and those who deserve to be incarcerated. We ask for your compassion, wisdom and fairness in regards to this very important issue.
