Permanent NFL Ban On Vick

We as a community and fans of NFL feel that Michael Vick should have a permanent ban from the NFL for life.
There can be little room for doubt that Mr. Vick%u2019s conduct, as articulated in the federal indictment, is %u201Cdetrimental to the integrity of, or public confidence in, the game of professional football[.]%u201D NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, Article XI--Commissioner Discipline, Section 1(a).
Engaging in an organized, sustained gambling ring dedicated to profiting from dogfighting is nothing short of barbaric, and Mr. Vick%u2019s personal conduct, as described in the federal indictment, is indicative of an alarmingly serious personality disorder. The simple fact that Mr. Vick was knowingly associating with gamblers and gambling activity, regardless of the dogfighting, would be sufficient cause for terminating Vick%u2019s association with the League in and of itself.
We feel that "Vick has only learned to hate the consequences of his behavior, not the behavior itself. One very good indication that Vick''s mea culpa is full of empty promises!!!
Dogfighting is cruel and criminal, and football players must be held accountable like anyone else. Please permanetly ban for lifetime Vick immediately - anything less would reflect very badly on your judgment, and on the league.
The abuses described in the indictment are almost beyond belief, and include a report of Vick being consulted before the execution of the losing dog "by wetting the dog down with water and electrocuting the animal."

The Victory dogs deserve this if nothing else. Or was their really justice? They have a lifetime of scars emotionally and physical scars.

What kind of man would do THAT?
veterinarians describe them as suffering from post-traumatic stress, very similar to soldiers returning from a war zone or other people who have experienced extreme trauma and abuse. Many of them had been forced to fight to the death - like gladiators in some primitive arena.
And what kind of message does killing out of convenience send about how our society treats the victims of such horrible abuse? What does it teach our children? Michael Vick is not a good role model. Please leave him out of the NFL permanately we pray.
