Please Add High Speed Internet and Cable TV to our rural area.
We live in a rural area, south of Huntington, Texas. The only access we have to high speed internet is through Hughes (which is really not so good here), and the only access we have to cable TV is a satellite. Both prospects are extremely expensive. Most people in this are are elderly, and/or have limited, set incomes. We only receive one reliable TV channel via antenna. As I understand it, we are very close to the last accessible wire to make these available; but, not close enough. We could and would use these services here if they were available.
We the undersigned would greatly appreciate the opportunity to access high-speed internet service in our area. We currently have no alternatives that are cost effective. The accessibility of high-speed internet would greatly improve our ability to access important information, local and national, that is vital to all communities. Thank you for taking the time to consider our request to add high-speed internet service to our area by the end of 2012.
