The Minnesota Secretary of State has certified the result of the Minnesota Senate election of November 4, 2008. Al Franken was declared to have received more votes than Norm Coleman, after a complete recount of ballots cast by the state's voters.
We, the undersigned, therefore ask that Senator Al Franken be seated in the Senate without any further delay, so that Minnesotans can be fully and properly represented in the U.S. Government.

Petition Status Update (04/14): I have sent interim petition signatures to all Senate Leadership and to our own Senator Klobuchar. The cover letter reads as follows:
Dear Senator ........,
I am writing to bring your attention to our petition to the Senate, to commence to seat Al Franken as the Junior Senator from MN. The petition can be viewed at:

Many of us are DFL grassroots organizers and have worked very hard in the 2008 election, to bring change in our country's leadership at all levels. We will continue to work everyday to support you and our other elected DFL leaders, and all leaders who understand and respect our DFL values and platform. We now need your support in standing up, for our rights and to the GOP, and taking the necessary steps to seat Al now. We have waited patiently while the GOP has, once again, misused and abused the electoral systems instituted by the people, for the people. ENOUGH ALREADY! The People spoke and now the courts have spoken.
Please pass this message on to your colleagues in Congress. We respectfully await your bold and principled action on our behalf - SEAT AL FRANKEN.
