STOP GOVERNMENT FROM TAKING INCOME TAX!

I am what you would call middle class. Basically I make too much money to qualify for any government programs but don't make enough money to live comfortably.  We earn a substansial amount of money before the government takes $1400.00 month from us. After that we can barely feed our kids.  Not only are we taxed on our income dollar, we are taxed 10 times on the same dollar! Taxed at the store, the gas station, the smokes we are addicted to, the beer we try to relax with, the environment taxes, the  savings taxes etc. All these taxes(and many more not listed)are taken from the same dollar that was taxed initially when we paid income tax! Once you pay income tax shouldn't that be it? I believe we should either pay icome tax and nothing else or pay all the other taxes and not income tax.  Why should the government be allowed to 10 tax us to death.  So much so that we can't even live our lives.
What do we get for $1400.00 a month? Absolutely nothing!We make too much $ to get any of it back.
I think the income tax is way over rated. It was first established to fight the war.  Well we're not at war anymore. Why should the poor people(who are poor by choice) and the rich people get tax advantages when the working class that supports all these poor people get nothing.
