Support addition of wetlands at Seneca Army Depot!
Please voice your support for the wildlife and habitat at Seneca Army Depot!
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is proposing the addition of 2,100 acres of wetlands, most of which are within the Seneca Army Depot.
The addition of 2,100 additional acres as wetlands will ensure that the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will be able to perform a thorough and comprehensive environmental review to adequately protect the wetlands and wildlife at the depot. The depot is home to the world's largest herd of white (not albino) white-tail deer. This is especially needed in light of the proposal to offer fee hunting of the white deer herd and other wildlife at the depot.
