Obama, keep your promises help teachers now!

We have a new commander and chief, one with school age children. Where will you get better teachers from and who will bankroll their master teacher status?  What about all the good teachers that America already has? Who and when will they get relief? The United States Department of Education with the support of Congress will only forgive teachers loans after 1998, if they paid off all loans prior to October 1998. That means fellow teachers if you have loans after October 1998 you will not be allowed to get your loans forgiven. Many of you are very distressed by this finding. I am a teacher. I am a highly qualified teacher with a master's in special education. I have been teaching 15 years. Recently, I found out that I am not eligible for the government loan forgiveness program because I have loans before October 1998. I was shocked. I was told by the government and by the university that I went to that if I taught in a teacher shortage area my loans would be forgiven. So on that note, I am asking that you contact me here at Care 2. Let me know if you find yourself in this very devastating position. It's time to stand up and be counted. We want our loans forgiven. Congress forgives physicians loans and we teach doctors. We work hard. We are overworked, underpaid and unappreciated. Obama remeber your promises thousand of teachers supported you it is time to do the right thing, tell congress to forgive our loans we are long suffering.
