Sports Without Skirts

Requiring women to wear skirts in certain sports is an outdated concept that needs revision. Some young athletes feel uncomfortable with wearing short skirts during games, and therefore chose not to play. Other athletes prefer wearing skirts because they feel it offers more mobility. Each athlete has their own preference, so why are they not allowed to wear both? By signing this petition we are hoping to raise awareness with this issue, and encourage more women's sporting programs to offer shorts in their uniform.
