Force the wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes

For far too long the wealthy have escaped paying their fair share of federal taxes. Let’s close all of the loopholes by supporting a graduated flat tax with no deductions whatsoever. Even most homeowners no longer need to itemize deductions to reduce their income tax liability.
If we pass laws to create a graduated flat income tax, not only will the wealthy (especially the 1%) be forced to pay their fair share of income taxes but we can reduce the number of auditors needed to investigate the legality of those deductions. Additionally, the simplicity of the tax system will make it so individuals will be able easily to file their own taxes without the need for accountants or tax service companies which cost more money out of our pockets.
This idea’s time has come. Let’s simplify the income tax system and compel the wealthy to contribute their fair share. It could also be applied to corporations so that they can no longer dodge their tax liability as well.
