Control Light Pollution For One Night A Year For Star Gazing

Take a moment to think about the times that you looked up at the night sky and saw the galaxy spread before you. Then think about the times where you looked up and you saw nothing but a big black sky. The reasoning behind that is the fact that we have too much light pollution.

Light pollution effects what we see at night. There is a whole galaxy out there, and we only see part of it because of this issue.

I propose that one day a year, for atleast an hour, all the lights, except for emergency centers and some restaurants, go out. This would allow the light pollution to decrease, making the stars more visible, and giving us a chance to teach kids about the sky through personal experiance.
