Repeal Breed Specific Ordinances

We urge the city of Palmyra to repeal the current Pit Bull ban and enforce instead a general vicious dog ordinance. The people of this city are not any safer with only the "hidden" Pit Bulls in town. If a general vicious dog ordinance were enforced, the city would be better able to keep track of all of the dangerous dogs, regardless of the breed, in town. Thus, the citizens of Palmyra would be better protcected from dog bites.
