What I have seen would make anyone sick!!!

I visited Ecuador on vacation this past month. I was appalled by the number of stray, starving, pregnant dogs wandering the streets with no one to care for them. To the Ecuadorians, dogs are vermin and not worth taking care of!
I have personally seen newborn puppies being beaten to death by a hammer and young puppies being held in a pen with not food, left to starve to death.

This is intolerable! I would never recommend anyone visiting Ecuador at all. I am amazed that some ex-pats can live there knowing the cruelty that goes on!

Please end this!!!!!!! Heavy fines should be imposed if animals are left to wander that have not been spayed or neutered.
Females are bred EVERY time they come into heat and therefore have prolapsed uteruses which are infected beyond recognition.

This all happened in a place called Crucita....... but definitely not restricted to that city.
