Stop Discrimination Against Introverted People!

Please sign this petition if you believe that discrimination against introverted, or shy people is UNACCEPTABLE behavior and needs to be stopped.  We as human beings have the freedom to choose to be civilized and act better than other primates.  We need to make RESPECT our new cultural norm as a society!

Discrimination is not just racism or sexism.  Personality discrimination exists as well.  Our society tends to be very prejudiced against introverted people.

Discrimination against introverts includes:
1.  Bullying and then justifying it by saying that the victim did not "stand up for themself" so they deserve it.
2.  Overlooking competent introverts in favor of louder, more manipulative coworkers for promotions.
3.  Categorizing introverted behavior as a mental illness, when it is simply a style of relating to the world and there nothing dysfunctional about it.
4.  Being suspicious of introverts and blaming them for things that they did not do.
5.  Relational aggression, often used by women, to exclude introverts and deny them access to support networks.
6.  Self-help books telling us that we must defy our innate nature and act like an extrovert to survive in this world.

The list goes on and on...

If all of these things were done to a certain ethnic group, it would be considered racism without any doubt.  How is personality discrimination any different?
