Miss USA Should Call Out Trump’s Sexist, Predatory Behavior

“It is hard to reconcile that Harvey Weinstein could be brought down with this, and [President] Trump just continues to be the Teflon Don."

— Jessica Leeds, one of 11 women who came forward during Election 2016 to charge that Donald Trump had groped or assaulted them.

Bill O'Reilly, Harvey Weinstein, Senator Al Franken, Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore... the list of men in the public eye who have been accused of inappropriate — and often criminal — behavior towards women seems to grow by the day.

But so far, numerous and well-documented accusations of sexual harassment and assault levelled against the sitting president of the United States have been largely lost among all the other scandals.

Trump owned the Miss Universe Organization – which also includes Miss USA and Miss Teen USA — for nearly two decades. That's why it's the perfect platform for the current Miss USA, Kára McCullough, to devote her speaking time during the November 26 Miss Universe broadcast to:

-Calling out President Trump's predatory behavior; and
-Condemning sexism, sexual harassment, and gender-based violence.

Can you help convince Kára to use her Miss USA platform to speak up for women? This bold act would challenge sexism in a very public venue and show support for Trump's brave accusers — including past pageant participants — and for women and girls everywhere who've been harassed or assaulted.

It's critical that we hold sexual abusers accountable for their actions – even if they are the President. Please sign my petition now and urge Miss USA, Kára McCullough, to use her time on Miss Universe to publicly call out Trump's history of harassment and abuse.
