Petition supporting unbiased elections in Zimbabwe
Robert Mugabe the President of Zimbabwe for over 20 years has set up prison camps to interrogate and torture suspected supporters of his opposition party and is trying to sway their vote. The election was held on March 29th but neither candidate received a majority of the vote (50.1% or higher). In Zimbabwe this means a run-off election where only the top two candidates run. Mugabe has fixed elections before and is trying to do it again through these prison/torture camps. This petition is supporting Non-Violent American intervention to stop the torture and regulate the Zimbabwean election to promote democracy. Zimbabwe needs a new leader Mugabe is running a totalitarian dictatorship and has thrown Zimbabwe into 100,000% inflation. Poverty starvation and HIV are rampant.
