Is 100% renewable energy possible for Stephen F. Austin State University?

This petition is asking for SFA to look at moving to 100% clean energy sources via consultant feasibility review. This would include SFA investigating the possibility of converting its energy providers to 100% renewable at little to no increased cost without new infrastructure. This also include modeling out the prospect of installing solar infrastructure such as solar car parks and rooftop panels to existing buildings. This is not a request for funding but a request that SFA consider these clean energy options to see if they would benefit the school financially or equal currents budgets while increasing campus wide sustainability.
