This is a petition for Mazda Motor Corp to consider reviving their MPS/Mazdaspeed brand across both the 3 and 6 models. Times have moved on however and for a new model to compete in the market it would require upwards of 350bhp and AWD in the 3 as well as the 6 models. Mazda have a very good history of making fast, affordable cars and we, the Mazda loving community, would like them to keep doing so. The MPS range of cars that were produced achieved a large following across the markets. These followers are in it for the long haul, and would love their brand (Mazda) to be able to keep up with the likes of Ford, Honda, Volkswagen etc. I believe that Mazda has the resources and ability to produce a true contender in this competitive performance market which would cause other manufacturers to sit up and take notice. Your support on this petition would allow us to demonstrate to Mazda that the market exists for the kind of car we all want to see, and that would be the first step in an admittedly long road to seeing a new MPS/Mazdaspeed back on the market and our roads in the future.
