Only Early Care PF Physical Well Being of the Mother Can Reduce Chances of Pre-Eclampsia

When you are pregnant, there are possibilities of certain disorders creeping in. It is because your body as well as that of your baby undergoes tremendous amount of changes, both physiological and biological, during this time. So, both you and your baby are vulnerable to such disorders. In order to avoid them, the best thing you can do is take precautionary measures.

Out of the most difficult cases, Pre-eclampsia is one. Pre-eclampsia can be diagnosed only by the middle of second trimester, or mostly in the third trimester. It is a critical condition in which the placenta becomes a hindrance to the supply of food and blood to the baby. The joining of the placenta in the uterus to the mother’s body may be defective, and this may result from unnecessary physical exertion or avoidable injuries during the early part of pregnancy. As a result, the baby while growing feels a dearth in food, blood and oxygen. This can result in making the baby feel claustrophobic inside, causing excessive movements and pain. Furthermore, the pre-eclampsia symptoms include swelling of the hands, severe headaches and upper abdominal pain, excessive vomiting and nausea and weight gain.

This can be life threatening for mother as well as baby. A noted one among the pre-eclampsia symptoms is that the mother may develop HELLP syndrome that can be fatal. It causes liver and kidney dysfunctioning, blood clotting problem and even stroke. The only way to treat it is a pre-mature delivery. The doctor has to be very accurate with the timing of this as any inaccuracy will surely result in baby death, and the mother can also be extremely critical. That is why it is always to recommended to be physically restful during the first trimester of pregnancy so as to avoid any dislocation of the placenta from the correct position.
