Demand an End to Uranium Mining on the Navajo Nation!

The people of the Navajo Nation have been living in conditions that can best be described as inhumane. For years, uranium waste has polluted the air and land of the Navajo Nation.
There are at least 500 abandoned uranium mines on the Navajo Nation according to the EPA. NPR reported that the effect of this mining has led to Navajo people dying due to kidney failure and cancer, which are conditions linked to uranium contamination. In addition to that. new research from the CDC shows that babies are being born with uranium in their systems.

Crownpoint Uranium Project, created by Laramide Resources, was poised to being uranium mining on their land again. We cannot allow this to happen.

Please sign to show your support for the banning of uranium mining and the removal of uranium waste on the Navajo Nation.
