A problem with many young people today is that they are not receiving all of the proper education needed to prepare students for adulthood. Valley Christian High School does a great job in doing so, but as an institution centered in Christ, it is the school's duty to strive for improvement and make as excellent students as possible. The school can improve by instituting a Home Economics/Life Skills class that will teach students of the benefits of basic cooking skills, management of finances, sewing, even things such as basic car care, and whatever else can better prepare young people to take care of themselves. There are far too many people that are oblivious to these mandatory skills, and this sad reality must end.
