Anti-Lying Law

Ask the United States Congress to pass legislation similar to that existing in Canada which requires that "a licenser may not broadcast … any false or misleading news.
Canadian television has a law against lying over the air. It's illegal to knowingly lie on news broadcasts in Canada. Canada's Radio Act requires that "a licenser may not broadcast … any false or misleading news. Ask Congress to pass a law in the United States with similar provisions.
