Petition Asda from using Thai factory produced chicken

On a recent trip to ASDA I was shocked to find that the majority of chicken produce in ASDA own range has now gone from produced in the UK to now saying (in small letters )derived from Thailand.Being a vegetarian myself (my son and husband are meat eaters) I was disgusted to think that ASDA to save a few pence is transporting chicken products from a country that have fewer restrictions on care, management and slaughter of their animals. This is from a country that butcher dogs on the street markets! They are kept in small cages awaiting their fate for their so called meat trade and are skinned alive to make fake Ugg boots and other fur products. Come on ASDA this is not what we expect or want from our retailers.
