Premier League clubs must give money to Non League

In times where football has gone crazy we as fans have to seriously question the integrity of the game and wonder what the hell is going on but more importantly stand up and do something about it at last.

For me, I work in a world where I see clubs desperately trying to find that new idea that will make that few extra hundred quid than their local rivals down the road or in some cases just to even provide a club in the local community.

Now call me cynical but i find that damned repulsive when i see Real Madrid have just broke the world record transfer fee twice this season by their intent on signing Christiano Ronald for £80 million pounds and already securing the deal for Kaka at a staggering £58 million.

Are brainwashed fans to blame...you tell me...i bet the 80,000 Real Madrid fans who will pack into the Bernabeu Stadium this season won't give a damn about the 100 million starving people in Africa, nor will they give a damn about their grass roots football in their own country...what they will give a damn about is watching humans of prime status almost iconic with the times associated with the film Gladiaotir set in ancient Rome.

Manchester United legend Eric Cantona recently made a passionate plea to the media for Premier League clubs to pass on a small donation to non league clubs.

After all isn't this is where we create hidden talent, ambition, dreams and opportunities for children, teenagers and people up and down the country, surely this is worth a lot more than 1 man?

Another hugely frustrating inconsistency flaw in our game and gap between the league and non league is the tribunal arrangement. Now lets be fair for a moment and take the £80 million on the table for Christiano Ronaldo and say the average buying price of a Premiership footballer is £5 million.

Then how can a club like Fulham take a hugely promising player like Chris Smalling from Maidstone United last season on 'a gentlemens agreement' and stick him right into the first team to face players worth more than £12 million pounds...where is the sense in that, and more importantly the fairness on Non League clubs.

Maidstone United will receive some kind of fee for the talented teenager but i bet it's no where near what Fulham would get if they sold him in a years time...which is proof that the Premier League is all about business...even at the expense of Non League clubs.

It is fantastic news to see our national U21s in the final of the European Championships and it is a credit to the Premier League clubs for raising these stars...but the fact also remains and which has been highlighted by top managers including Harry Redknapp and Arsne Wenger that we would rather look abroad than our English youth and the young stars we have are limited.

The Non League game right now is in a huge mess, clubs are on the brink of colapse whilst it remains a game of nutrition with only the clubs with the biggest financial backers staying above their rivals.

Although that testament is only a fragment of the finanacial side of Non League football. Some clubs are graced by the gift and the guile of individuals who help raise funds for the clubs which is probably why there is such a love for Non League football, as the great man Tony Kempster proved, hard work, innovation and pure ambition in keep grass roots football keep it alive which why we still have a foundation for English football.

Non League Football Live is pushing for your support, we believe there should be some kind of foundation payment for Non League football clubs just as league clubs are rewarded when exiting the football league.

We also believe that money should be transparent and guaranteed to help non league clubs which is why payments should be void for any clubs who have a Chairman with a bad credit history in the game.

Whilst Ronaldo and Kaka on their own cost £134 million, Non League clubs could provide the country with young footballers, better quality coaching and bringing local communities together.

Infact investing in Non League Football would help take children and young adults off the street, give them chances, helping to create more facilities and opportunities of every day folk in England for barely £2 million, which rather puts things into perspective when you see Premier League managers moving from one club to another for a mere £2 million in compensation.
