The overpopulation of large cities throughout the world leads to the construction of many enormous buildings which hinder the local nature. With less light than ever before, tight alleys and lower building floors become a cold and unpleasant place for working and living. But the occupation of city buildings is hardly the issue.
The reduced space between buildings on two neighboring lots can harm the surrounding vegetation, especially when the two buildings are higher than two or three floors.
There are lots of already established buildings which can not simply be demolished and rebuilt. And destroying a century-old architecture is not the goal of this petition.
Our demand is for initiating smarter building and remodeling that aids the increase of illumination levels in highly dense areas. Mirror windows, as well as solar panel windows, are a wonderful solution to this issue.
Their use can be applied to any building and the results are absolutely magnificent. These window types have been used by large commercial centres and it is about time that we apply it in residential architecture as well.
