There is so much food waste going on at the moment yet not every council collect food waste they should give out compost caddy for food waste to be collected separately not with mix rubbish going to landfill.
There are so many things you can do with food waste and only foods
For example food waste can be collected to go to food bank
Pantry cupboards in shops that they can be reused there are scheme you pay weekly or monthly and take 10 item free. This help reduce food going to waste
Supermarkets and shops can donate items to food bank or used olio apps to get rid of food expiring for free
People in resident of house or flats should be given a food waste caddy by council not all council do this and run with it for a trial period then they can see how much they could profits from it & help the environments too & stop it going to landfills
It will mean that residents must clean the foods containers & recycles the container not mixed with foods as this attracted vermin's and put people health at risk. The foods can be turn into waste to energy for electric & heating it could be used to make compost and sell it within the community the profit will help the council & comunity residents that are in need. In flats residential area large bins with post like handles could be install in block of flats to make it easier to be pick up separately just like do with orange bags or black bags or colour boxes it simple enough to do & easier. As the type of bins must be solid and strong enough to with stand animals from knocking it over to break in also fireproof to stop it being vandalised as they are people out there who would do that & get punish for it if they do. We need to make safe not only from animals & people too. Because with all these food waste going going to landfill it is unhealthy to the environment as it mixed with rubbish. Why not make it food only make it safe & healthy for our planet
