4 Block School Schedule

These children at Carver's Bay High School are on an 8 block schedule, leaving them with only 45 minutes to learn their lessons and have to move on quicky. They have multiple essays, assignments, or projects that are due for multiple classes at the same time. This so overwhelming for our children. This is not preparing them for collage, this is making it harder for them to want to go because they are worked so hard during high school and d not get the full teachings in for what they are being taught. And it is not the teachers fault. It's the district for not putting them on the same 4x4 schedule as the other schools in our district.

My goal is to have the GCSD change the school block schedule to 4 blocks. Per semester. That will give them longer class times to learn what is being taught. And not have so much to do at home that they don't understand.
