Making Women More Aware

Upskirting is the act of taking an unauthorised picture up a woman’s skirt, with intent of capturing their genitalia. Only recently it has become a criminal offence and many women are unaware of what it is, unaware of it happening, or don’t know what to do if they recognise it has happened. FGM (female genital mutilation) is female circumcision, carried out on women between puberty back to just being born. 3 million girls are affected every year, predominantly in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, although it still affects many young women in the UK. Both issues are violations of human rights for acts that are so malicious, people are so clueless to them.
