SUPPORT Windows Live Messenger- We are NOT ready to "Sign OUT"

Recently it has come to my attention that Microsoft is to merge Skype and MSN Messenger (Windows Live Messenger) together, which in turn will result in the discontinuing of the program completely (ie: meaning it'll no longer be running for normal, daily usage. )

12 years ago Messenger was released and designed to help people keep in touch, make new social connections, and find new ways to enjoy IMing. What Windows Messenger differs greatly from it's leading competetors is it's mobilty, compatibility, and unique features it has had to offer over the years. It has always been about the network of people far more than "Just another IM program" MSN is recognized, and used across the globe greatly and has also given then term IM, a whole new meaning, as we enjoy it's slick features, and easy access.

A vast majority of us use and love Window's Live Messenger and do not wish to make OURSELVES compatiable with another IMing program. Why rid of something that has no purpose in being executed, is the price really worth losing loyal users over?

Users using Windows Live Messenger are able to merge their Microsoft account with their Skype account, allowing them to communicate with their Messenger contacts via the Skype clients. Users will have until the first quarter of 2013 to make the transition.[5]
