Ok so heres my story. Im a first time offender & last time offender. My felony stems from domestic violence. My issue i part of terms for you deffered adjudication is to maintain employment. But 9 out of 10 jobs will not hire you! Ive been to many interviews and Target actually hired me as baby advisor but when my backround check came back they said I would not be working there because of my backround.Now how can we become good members of society if we cant even obtain employment? Its not fair to discriminate on people because of there past. (Minus sexual crimes & especially crimes against children) those are understandable as to why they wouldnt be hired.I want to work and im a very hardworker. But companies say they dont discriminate ,but they do. I feel like an immigrant in this country without papers. I cant get an apartment i cant even go on school trips with my children. I made a mistake. I paid my dues to siciety and sucessfully doing probation 3 years one more left.let me work! Let me take care of my kids financially. Please consider sighning this.we all have our faults.
