Seven million children in Southeast Asia do not attend school regularly (Unesdoc. 2020).

The Philippine government must invest more money in Education and targeting children who currently don't go to school.

Government expenditure on education, total (% of GDP) in the Philippines was 2.65 as of 2009. Its highest value over the past 29 years was 3.81 in 1998, while its lowest value was 1.69 in 1983.

Education spending peaked in around 2010 at 5.7% of GDP or £104 billion (2018-19 prices).

Uk Spend twice the amount of the countries GDP on Education than the Philippines

The UK fines families whose children to do not go to school

I think it is succeeding because the number of children who do not go to school in the Uk is so much lower than the number of students not going to school in the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

Education spending peaked in around 2010 at 5.7% of GDP or £104 billion (2018-19 prices). It has fallen since then, but how much of this is due to changes to definitions, where does this leave the UK compared to other countries and how does this fall in spending compared to others over the past seven decades?
