Platform Gates at Union Station in Toronto
Union Station in Toronto is the most important transportation hub in the city. The train platforms can be dangerous during rush hour because of huge volume of passengers, as it was tragically proven this week with the death of our RBC colleague Daniel Panacci.
Please help us to delivery our message to Go Transit, Metrolinx and the Ontario Government requesting the contruction of platform gates at Union Station to prevent another tragedy in the future.

Union Station is the most important and busiest transportation hub in Toronto. Metrolinx and Go Transit are well aware that during rush hours the Union Station platforms can be extremelly busy, and the possibility of accidents can increase exponentially due to the sheer number of passenger traffic.
Unfortunately one of our RBC colleague, Mr. Panacci, was a victim of a tragic mishap and lost his life at Union Station this week. We think MetroLinx and Go Transit can, together with the help of the Ontario Government, prevent a similar tragedy in the future by simply taking immediate action and start planning and building platform gates in all tracks at Union Station.
We hope cost will not be an impediment to proceed with such project as human life is way too precious to be assigned a dollar value.
