On February 3, 2012 a dog was found on the side of the road with duck tape around his front and rear legs, as well as his mouth. Chubby whom was 10-12 years of age was left there for dead. They did find the man who did this to Chubby, he was put in jail. But under New York State law Shane Morehouse will only face misdemeanor charge(s) which are animal cruelty and animal abandonment. He was arrested and released on his own recognizance, meaning he'll probably at most get probation if that. He needs to be charged with a FELONY. He should have been held in jail until his court date. I am a firm believer in what happens to an animal by man should happen to then in the same fashion. But unfortunately that cant happen, so he should get what he deserves and pay for what he did. For more information on this case here is the news url
