Elder's Rights

I am 61 years old and I have a great niece who I have done the best I could do to raise from the age of 1. Since she is grown now she keeps coming back to my home raising problems recently I had file a restraining order against her and her boyfriend. She called Alameda police and lied and told them I stabbed her with a knife. I told Officer responding about the restraining order the officer wouldn't listen and took me to jail now I am out but my landlord says I have to move out. I don't have resources to do so. I plan on going to the I ternal affairs on the police. This is only one incident I have been threatened and I have no rights here can you tell me what else I can do to protect myself from those who are supposed to protect me?
