All Insulin Dependent patients should get Libre sensors on Prescription

Currently type 1 diabetics & type 2 insulin dependent diabetics can have Libre sensors on precription BUT only when their local CCG (Clinical Community Group) agree to fund it. The Libre is marvelous. It works well and no more finger pricking which is horrendous. Sensors cost £100 a month. This is ok for Mrs. May who uses one but not for ordinary people on ordinary income. Sensors are much cheaper in America and this shows that Abbott will sell it to the NHS for less money. VERY UNFAIR. Mr. Bevan would be very cross.
