Help change pitbull ordinances in the city of fitzgerald!

I was told today by the animal control officer in the city of fitzgerald georgia that I had to get rid of my daughter's dog because she is a pitbull! My neighbors called them just because she is what she is! My dog has NEVER tried to hurt anyone! I put up with strays of all kinds coming into my yard she never leaves my yard she is well taken care of! There are different ways to handle pitbull ordinances my daughter's heart is broken! I will not stand for it! If you can have them in the county you should be able to have them in the city!!!!
